I headed a small team of talented developers and support staff where everyone was required to pitch in as we boxed very successfully well out of our weight grade and I thrived on the excitement and challenges involved at every level of every project.

Providing clean, user focused, efficient solutions (hardware and software based) is my passion (27yrs experience). I achieve this through my people, project management and Business Analysis skills gaining buy-in through consultation and mutual respect.
The ability to juggle projects and never missing a deadline didn’t just develop through my professional experience. It also comes from having three beautiful Daughters – all with very different personalities, activities, schedules and demands. It was adapt or die trying. I’ve learned to budget my time and my assets, and most importantly, I’ve learned to be flexible and to get things done without losing my practicality.
I am hardware and language agnostic, regardless of the tool used the customer satisfaction is paramount.

Mark is a rare find in the IT industry as he is able to talk in non-programmer speak so your non- programmer, like myself, can understand. From a customer perspective he listens to what you are wanting and is able to translate it into a computer program. He will also suggest things you hadn't even thought of so as to make the program easier to use and a better fit for your needs.

Greg was the founder and CEO of Animates building the highly successful chain from the ground up.
In my role as the CEO of Animates I engaged Mark Stratton as our IT Manager; and as the developer and provider of our Information Technology system.
Animates is now a NZ nationwide pet industry retailer with nearly 40 stores, but when Mark was employed the business had two stores. We had ambitious plans to expand the concept nationwide but we identified that one of the greatest risks to growth was the Information Systems, in particular

Mark is able to effortlessly determine the needs of the business and the staff, and create very efficient software and information system solutions. His methodical approach ensures that solutions work every time, minimising business risk and maximising efficiency.
